A fine Gentlemen's yacht. An elegant lady to be proud of when you cruise past the pontoons and purposefully head down the channel. This is a real eye catcher, the kind of boat that broadcasts classic style and functionality.
She was built in a previous age when the boat builders put their hearts into the job. She has classic lines and clean practical decks. The varnished timber might require regular maintenance but its worth the elbow grease.
The boat has two steering positions. There is an outside helm behind the wheelhouse and a traditional helm position inside. The captain's seat would not be out of place on a commercial vessel.
Below decks and I was struck by the tradional appearance of the cabins which is enhanced by the varnised mahogany woodwork. She has a lovely, spacious main saloon with master bedroom to the bow section. The accommodation is well proportioned and the layout is practical and well ordered. The wheelhouse is the focal point of the vessel. It is a fine example of craftsmanship and any owner would be proud to survey all that is around and about.
This vessel has a perkins 140hp turbo diesel which is 'man enough for the job'.
The current owner has updated the vessel with lots of modern navigational equipment including chart plotter, GPS and radar.
